Hampshire’s largest one-day Wedding Expo is happening on Sunday 19th January 2025.
With over 130 exhibitors, you’ll find everything from Venues and Photographers, to Dresses and Stationary … and everything in between … including Hair and Makeup of course!
I exhibited at the 2024 Expo and it was great! So many suppliers, so many excited couples planning their big day and I can’t wait to meet many more at the next one.

A few months ago I made a decision to do something that for me was a little out of my comfort zone … I entered The Wedding Industry Awards! I was drawn to the awards' commitment to a fair and transparent judging process, which ensures that everyone has an equal opportunity to succeed.
I'm absolutely thrilled to say that I have been named a Regional Finalist!!
I absolutely love my job, love being a part of my Bride’s special day, creating a look that is bespoke to them and to have them feeling like the very best version of themselves. Not only that, but being involved in such an amazing industry, recognition from TWIA would be not just a great way to finish this year but a fabulous way to start the year ahead.
Regardless of the results at the awards evening which is being held in November, it is a privilege to have been selected as a Regional Finalist alongside other brilliant Makeup Artists in the South Central Area.

I am very excited to say that I am a recommended supplier at the beautiful Bombay Sapphire Distillery.
The Laverstoke Mill is steeped in history spanning back to the 1086 Doomsday Book right upto the current day where the public can learn all about the history whilst trying the famous Bombay Sapphire Gin .. perhaps even learning how to make a cocktail or two (I’ve absolutely done this, it’s a fab experience!)
Super close to Basingstoke, it’s almost on my doorstep!
I have been part of a styled bridal shoot here and can honestly say it’s just such a unique venue with a variety of ceremony options around the site.
For me, it’s the iconic glass houses! Imagine your photos with that as your backdrop!

I am super excited to say that I am now a recommended wedding supplier at Norton Park Hotel, Spa & Manor House near Winchester! I have worked at Norton Park previously getting Brides ready for their big day and have a few bookings their throughout 2023 also so I am really looking forward to working with the lovely team there!
The 17th Century Hampshire barn is a beautiful place to have your ceremony … I’ve seen it all lit up and set out for a wedding and it’s just so pretty! Their newly refurbished Manor House is available for exclusive hire and is a perfect place for prep too.
Lastly, their grounds are lovely to wander around and make for the perfect backdrop for wedding photos … including their swing set beneath the trees!

Wedding fayres are back in full swing and it’s great to be meeting so many new couples, excitedly planning their weddings and looking for ideas, inspiration and suppliers for their big day!
I have attended two of the Spiral Events fayres so far this year and am set to exhibit at more as the year goes on.

Beauty is well and truly back! I’m back doing Bridal trials, in person makeup lessons and have now done my first 2021 Wedding which was lovely. I’ve even exhibited at the first 2021 Spiral Events Wedding Fayre at Basing House in Basingstoke. I’ll post more on that soon!

I realised that my most recent blog was updating the happy news that beauty was back … and as I write this, now in 2021, beauty has been closed again during lockdown. As soon as we are allowed to reopen I will update on here but in the mean time, I am still here, taking enquiries and bookings for 2021 and 2022. After 5 months unable to work due to Covid-19 restrictions, beauty is finally back!
My first booking back was a collaborative styled photoshoot and I have to say, it’s a little strange being back and in full PPE but needs must and I’m just so glad to be back doing what I love!
I have a few Weddings remaining this year with trials that were postponed to closer to the wedding dates so I am really looking forward to those!

After an expectant wait to find out the Government guidelines for beauty reopening on 1st August, the announcement came today that this is delayed for another two weeks.
This is sad news for the beauty industry but in addition to this, my heart goes out to the couples due to get married that again, expected to have a reception with 30 guests to have that delayed now also.
You may have already seen the most recent government announcement but if not, the news is that beauty is back from 1st August!
If you’re already booked in with me, your booking still stands and if of course you need to amend it due to Wedding postponements, just drop me an email and we can sort it out from there.
I look forward to getting back to doing what I love and to meeting my new Brides for their trials!!
More information will be posted soon once the guidelines have been released at which point I will update all currently booked clients via email and post an updae on here with my Covid-19 safety policy and how your appointment will run in line with that.
